We are excited to welcome you back to our warm, welcoming COVID safe pub. We have missed you! We’re all doing everything we can to adapt to the “New Norm” and have put many changes in place to keep everyone safe.
We are compliant with all the Government guidlines.
Please be kind, compassionate and patient as these changes mean service may be a little slower, but we’re all doing our best as we adapt to a very different social experience.
Let’s all work together to keep our lovely village pub open.
Our little feet are waiting to welcome you, we look forward to seeing you all on the 4th July and we’re open from 5pm. We are now taking bookings.
Just a couple of pointers before you visit, I know there is a lot to read but we want everyone to be safe.
Our staff will be on hand to guide you and to answer any questions.
There are 3 sanitization points:
1. Outside Gents Toilets/Rear Entrance
2. Front Door
3. Outside Ladies toilets
The rear door (from the car park) is an ENTRANCE ONLY door, the rear window is a service point for customers sitting in the garden, decking and wedding garden.
The front door is an EXIT ONLY door.
There are areas in the pub and pathways where you may have to pass each other and we ask that common sense is applied and you patiently wait for people to pass.
As you know we are a very small village pub and there are only a few tables inside now, the restaurant is reserved for dining (booking is advisable) and we have a few tables in the bar for drinking, if you would like indoor seating please ask if there is a table available at the service window.
There is no standing or congregating allowed at the bar.
Our decking area is now NO SMOKING and is reserved for PRIORITY SEATING.
There are garden benches in the garden and we have placed gazebos in the Wedding Paddock, you are welcome to bring your own seating.
We have now published our risk assessment, please see below.
